Versioning

The major version is part of the URL (/v2). Within a major version we only make backwards-compatible changes.

Compatible changes include new endpoints, new optional parameters, new response fields and new event types. Breaking changes ship in a new major version, with at least 12 months of overlap. Deprecations are announced in the changelog and via the Deprecation and Sunset response headers.
